Lots of truth there. The longer a sheriff is in power the worse those things become. Lincoln county has had basically the same administration at the SO for 14 years. The only thing that changed six years ago was the face in the corner office. Sad thing is at the last primary for sheriff, which decided the sheriff's election, just shy of 20% of the registered voters in Linoln County voted. As long as folks are not motivated to care you will keep getting the same results with the torch being passed to the next in line at the good old boys club.

I hope you didn't think i was a fan of Carpenter's. Bill hit the ground running when he was first elected and I was one that was glad to see Carpenter go. There came a point when things headed down the drain again though. I shouldn't have expected the changes to be long term because the only face on the hall that changed was the one in the corner office. Bill may have your respect but not mine. He, just like Carpenter, is a true politician who will tell you exactly what you want to hear then do exactly what he wants to do. He has relied too heavily on advice from command staff who have no business being in the positions they hold. It will be good to see Bill go. I hope Carpenter does run in 2026. Trump will be lucky to win the Republican primary. If he does win he is going to lose in the general election which is a sign of how terrible a candidate he is because Joe Biden should be defeated easily. The only worse candidate than Biden is Trump. If you don’t want Biden again then rally around a different republican candidate besides Trump. Trump has already said he is not going to the GOP debates and will not sign a pledge of loyalty to the party. He’s not loyal to anyone or anything yet expects absolute loyalty when it comes to him. MAGA supporters are falling for his song and dance as it is destroying the Republican Party and more importantly our great country. Wake up and get off the Trump train because it is only on a track to losing.

Fellow attorney Matthew DePerno, the 2020 Republican nominee for attorney general, was charged Tuesday, along with former state Rep. Daire Rendon, R-Lake City.

The office is ran by a group of golfing buddies who think they are in a college fraternity. Then you have the city PD ran by the most hated and least respected people on the planet, Brian Green. None of these agencies can hire top tier employees because they are laughing stocks of everyone in the business. Dear beautiful citizens of Lincoln County. I am so honored to serve you as the patrol lieutenant in the new Denver district. Here are a list of my qualifications: I worked patrol for about 3 or 4 months AND two weeks of that was on nights. Man that was rough. Next I got a job in CID. I had a killer clearance rate on obtaining property on false pretense cases. I knew that would serve me well. Next every month I would give our previous Sheriff Smiley Dave teeth whitening kits every month. When Bill got elected I gave his horses phalic massages that always ended in happy endings. That got me promoted to 21 stripe sergeant over schools. YES! I get to supervise real deputies like Tim Jameson. Then I started driving Franks food truck. I played drums for Bo Duke and Mike huckabee for a YouTube video that has a dozen or so views. Next I started a Paris tribute band called Fat Rascal Flatts. I thought of that name because Kelly looks like a fatter version of their singer. I play drums in it too. I carry Shreks equipment around to his DJing gigs. Now that I got my new job I got to cozy up to Matt since bill is going to appoint him sheriff after next election. I got to make sure Matt don’t have a nervous breakdown before then though. Maybe I can get him some CBD chewables or gummies. He might make me his chief deputy one day. Wow I’ll be just like Billy and Lee. I got keep this streak going. Love you guys.
